
All committee members must be current MSS members. Committee terms are 3 years each (exception: Governance committee term is 5 years). Appointed persons must keep their membership active throughout their term. Recommendations and volunteers are accepted throughout the year, with final appointments happening in the fall.
We are currently preparing all committee appointments for terms beginning next Spring. If you are interested in any of the following committees, please complete the form linked below. APPOINTED COMMITTEE POSITIONS
If you wish to be considered or nominate someone else to committee service, you (nominee) must:
- Be a MSS member in good standing at the time of nomination and appointment.
- Maintain MSS membership over the term of your committee appointment (typically 3 years).
- Attend committee's meetings during the appointed term.
- Participate in committee work or e-discussions between annual meetings, as requested by the committee chair.
Committee appointments are made at the fall board meeting and terms officially begin at the following spring MSS Annual Meeting.
